Crush On U  2016

The original intention for this piece was to photograph myself with every person I've had a crush on as if we were in a relationship.

The increasing number of rejections for the proposal lead to the project becoming a study of my fantasy versus the reality of who they are, and the different levels a relationship can take.

Seemingly just snapshots, the photos are images of how I imagined a scene in our relationship would look, based off of my banal fantasies, and our interaction during the meeting. Names are erased, and photos are mixed with others in the final product, not only for anonymity, but for the allowance of immersion, the study of data, and the discovery of type.
